St George's Day

So I know i'm a bit late on this one, but as I didn't have a blog at the time, I feel justified in writing this a bit late. Why is St George's Day still not a big celebration in England? Why are we unable to get into the spirit of all things English? We are happy to embrace celebrations for other nations, such as St Paddy's Day but can't embrace our own sense of nationalism.

Has anyone spent half an hour going through Stumble Upon with a focus on food? It's amazing the websites, recipes etc you can find.
